This is for applicants, potential applicants, and those who are serious about collaborative living concepts and training.

A second session will be held for those interested in investing, either as a social investment model or as a group of up to 5 unrelated individuals who have enough money to buy into a group investment in a custom-designed or renovated house, but not enough to purchase a house in their present circumstances.

Beyond Bricks & Mortar: Innovations for Community Investment in Housing
1-hour presentation followed by Q&A
This event, titled “Beyond Bricks & Mortar: Innovations for Community Investment in Housing”, touches upon:
- an introduction to innovative ownership models and social investment.
- ideas around creating mini-communities and supporting the larger local community.
- initial exposure to novel ideas in design (new build or reno) and collaboration techniques.
- strategies for future economic growth in regional areas.

Hosted by PeoplePurposePlace innovator Darren Finley, the events will combine vital information on the Ginn Road project development with foundational principles of collaborative living:
- The Roadmap to Residency: The precise process, practices, and tools needed to move toward residency in the Ginn Road project or upcoming properties will be discussed. This is crucial for securing a future home, as the tools to increase chances of success will be provided.
- The Future of Affordable Housing/Homing: How collaborative living addresses the widespread challenge of housing affordability.
- Addressing Concerns: Change requires adjustment. The foundational agreements and practices that facilitate collaboration will be reviewed, questions will be answered, and a commitment to making this a safe, affordable, and sustainable solution will be detailed.
Darren Finley states, “Our purpose is to walk this journey with you. We recognise that new initiatives bring reservations, and that’s exactly why PeoplePurposePlace was created—to support people through this process. Join us on November 8th, bring your list of questions, and let’s define a new future for home and community together.”
