Collaborative Group Learning Sessions 6th Dec 2025

2 December 2025 Leave a Comment

Momentum is building at 42 Ginn Road.

  • Date: Saturday, December 6th
  • Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Location: 42 Ginn Road, Malanda
  • Focus: Strengthening community bonds and finalising the resident cohort.

First, a huge Thank You to everyone who attended our second introductory session last weekend. The energy in the room was palpable. It was inspiring to see the conversation shift from general curiosity to the spirited “nitty-gritty” of collaborative life.

From Concept to Reality

With the construction of the 5-bedroom (each with an ensuite) dwelling now in its final stages, we are transitioning into the most critical phase yet: Group Formation.

We have discussed the lease and the layout.  Now, in keeping with our “People First” approach, it is time to focus entirely on connection and compatibility. We are inviting serious applicants and interested parties—whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just joining—to help us build the interpersonal bonds that make co-living successful.

Join Us: The Collaborative Group Learning Sessions

The goal of this upcoming session is to move beyond information and start building connections. We want you to see not just the house, but also if you “click” with your potential future neighbors.

  • Date: Saturday, December 6th
  • Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Location: 42 Ginn Road, Malanda
  • Focus: Strengthening community bonds and finalising the resident cohort.

What to Expect: You will tour the nearly completed facilities (including the 3.6 acres of beautiful outdoor space!) and participate in facilitated discussions using principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). This ensures that as our group forms, all are equipped with tools for deep listening, decision-making, and healthy conflict resolution from day one.

Are you ready to find your place in this community?

We look forward to seeing you on the 6th as we turn this house into a home.

We’re excited to share some fantastic news following our second introductory session last weekend – the energy and engagement from attendees were truly inspiring!

“The energy in the room was truly collaborative,” says Jana Mueller, local Ambassador for PeoplePurposePlace. “We saw fantastic interactions right from the start, with participants sharing personal visions and engaging in great discussions about how we can make this co-living model not just work, but genuinely thrive.”

  • How co-tenancy contracts operate under RTA regulations

As Darren often says, our philosophy is “Hard to get in; Easy to get out!” This approach ensures we build committed, cohesive communities from the start, while maintaining the flexibility that life requires.

Is This For You?

Whether you’re seriously considering applying or simply exploring what collaborative living could look like in your future, these sessions are an invaluable opportunity to learn how shared purpose and mutual respect can create a truly nurturing living environment.
